Wenatchee
Wenatchee is home to one of Washington’s oldest major festival, theApple Blossom Festival, which dates back to 1919. This gorgeous festival is held annually every Spring, making this one a fantastic time to take in the sights and smells of this beautiful blossom.
Another stunning visual element in Wenatchee is the Wenatchee National Forest, which spans three million acres from the Pasayten Wilderness along the Canadian border to the Goat Rock Wilderness, just south of Mt. Rainer. An ideal place to go hiking, camping, and exploring, the Wenatchee National Forest is just one of the reasons to visit.
If you’re up for a bigger adventure, jump on one of Wenatchee’s exciting whitewater excursions and test your paddling skills, which will surely leave you with lasting impressions of this marvelously scenic city.
