Normandy Park

In the 1920's the Seattle-Tacoma Land Company platted Normandy Park to be a planned residential community with all the architecture being in the French Normandy style. Building began but ground to a standstill in the 1920's. People began taking interest in the area once again in the 40's and 50's, the town was incorporated in 1953. Beautiful views of the East Passage of Puget Sound.
