Mazama
Nordic skiing, showshoeing, sleigh rides, hiking & biking trails - you name it, Mazama has it! Pack up the family and dogs and enjoy the world-renowned MVSTA trail system (the largest trail system in the country). Hike over the Tawlks-Foster Suspension Bridge, a 2 mile round trip hike located in Mazama that’s great for kids. The flat trail follows the river downstream. Wade, swim or fish on the beautiful Methow River, stop for a bit to eat in town and then head up Lost River Road into the Pasayten Wilderness, some of the most magnificent backcountry in the world.
