Kennewick

Located in the heart of Washington Wine Country along the Columbia River, Kennewick has more than 160 wineries within a 50-mile radius. The city’s proximity to the Snake, Yakima and Columbia rivers makes it an excellent place for fishing, sailing, boating, waterskiing, swimming, windsurfing and other water recreation.

The largest of three cities that make up Washington’s Tri-Cities region (the others are Pasco and Richland) situated at the confluence of the three rivers, Kennewick is known for its wealth of green spaces. Hop on the Sacajawea Heritage Trail, which runs through the Tri-Cities along the Columbia River, at idyllic Columbia River Park. Or tee off at the lush Canyon Lakes or Columbia Park golf courses.

Historic downtown Kennewick is dedicated to maintaining a small-town ambiance with locally owned restaurants, art galleries and shops. On West Kennewick Avenue, browse for antiques at Roxy Theatre Antiques & Gifts, The Picket Fence and Second Hand Haven or shop for clothing and accessories at Purple Parasol and The Sagebrush Collection.
